EMDR Training Refunds/Cancellation,
and Transfer Policies

REFUND POLICY

​

30 Days prior to the first day of training:

Refunds on purchased tickets are available until 30 days before the first day of training.

$225 of the total tuition is non-refundable if a learner requests to cancel their enrollment. 

To avoid the $225 fee, attendees can transfer to a different training at no additional cost.

 

Between 29 days to 72 hrs. prior to the first day of training:

There are no refunds during this period.

Transfer to a different group will be possible under certain conditions only and will be subject to a $500 transfer fee as well as documentation to justify a transfer (ex: sickness, death of an immediate family member). Transfer to a different training will only be allowed once. refunds on transferred training are not provided. Transfer to a different training date needs to be within 1 year of the original registration date.

72 hrs. prior to the first day of training:

There are no refunds and no transfer during this period under any circumstances.

Once the training begins: (full attendance, live via Zoom, is required).

There are no refunds and no transfer under any circumstances once the training begins.

Full attendance to the training (online via Zoom) is required. If an attendee misses more than 15 minutes per day, they will have to transfer to a different training and repay the full tuition fee. 

Refunds and Basic EMDR training certificates are not available to participants who miss portions of training i.e. - Missing a portion of a day or training days.

*Attendees will lose 100% of the total registration fee for the training if they are no longer able to attend the training past the cancellation deadline. If on a payment plan, attendees will be responsible for the remaining balance of their plan. In case an attendee fails to complete their payment plan, their file will be sent to a collection agency.

Refund if not qualifying for the training after registering:

If you register before verifying that you meet the EMDRIA requirements to join the training, refunds will be subject to a $225 processing fee.

Furthermore, if you fail to provide the required documents for us to be able to confirm your eligibility for the training by the cancellation deadline, you will not be able to receive a refund if you do not qualify. Attendees will lose 100% of their registration fee if they are not able to attend the training past the refund/cancellation period. If on a payment plan, attendees will be responsible for the remaining balance of their plan. In case an attendee fails to complete their payment plan, their file will be sent to a collection agency.

 

If choosing a payment option, any declined payments must be settled within 3 business days. A $50 charge will also apply for each declined payment.  To receive a certificate of completion, payment plans must be completed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

​

This training may be canceled or postponed 30 days before its date due to under-enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, such as presenter illness and/or a natural disaster (a flood, earthquake, tsunami, wildfire, or other major incidents) arise. Participants will be refunded 100%

 

Envision reserves the right to cancel the EMDR basic training at any time. Should this happen, learners will receive a full refund or a credit/transfer to a later course will be offered.

ACCOMMODATION AND GRIEVANCE POLICY

Grievances are only accepted in writing and will be handled within ten business days. Please email your grievance to

If you require specific accommodation, please make your request in writing 30 days before the 1st session.

Email your request to emdr-training@envisionservices.ca. Envision cannot ensure accommodations without adequate prior notification.

*Conflict of interest for this program: There is no known conflict of interest for this program. Envision has not received any financial support for this program or its contents and will not receive any financial support before or during this program. Envision will disclose any potential conflicts at the beginning of the training.
